Arrière-Pensée
sure
banter could be
our border
you state the line
certain
confabs cure all
butt against
you trying to skirt
issue
exit or egress
address caprice
a hem in your dalliance
démarche
oil,
the oat that runs the anachronism
and fodders the sanctified shootout
a breakfast for serial killers
the children are toast
oil,
the decay that dictates démarche
the civil wheel gets the grease
peace is the market of petrol
blood burns but marginally
oil,
a little dab might do ya
Trojans, Sheiks, and Exxon Valdes
Gulf War Syndrome and SUVs
diesel, Dallas, desert kings run the digital age
bite
the rubber bullet

SNZ got me many audio tools to pass the weekend. All great but will change the work-flow. Here’s
a new tool ya fool me twice mix. A bevy of new soft instruments tossed up with an instance or two of…wait for it…U-He’s DIVA….a mess but fun
OUT OF TUNE TO BLOOM SOON
Straddling the D and the F
Cigarette ash on my keyboard
Scotch stains on my tie
My wife on the phone with her lawyer
Monday, the twenty-second, nine p.m.
Toy
Raymond stutters
his mother stumbled
dead at the foot of the stairs
Raymond stutter
dirty fork
for dinner
memory was served
mistakes reheated
dessert forgotten
Float
Her long legs made me mutter
How long legs make me shudder
As I watched her heel to rudder
Tack into the wind
it’s not like i ever did stop
thinking
about
you
and
whether or not
we were
on the phone or
otherwise dis
engage or
how it does or doesn’t
engage
we did
i’ll still follow you anywhere
Hey, I appreciate that Judi. And sure you’ll allow SNZ a rant or 2 when the time comes. Please…. Oh if you get a change check out the music in a box making community via U-tube. Interesting and fun and capitalism in the extreme. Stay well and thanks again.
Absolutely love these poems (and as we see now, démarche truly stands the test of time). The four flash fictions are just wonderful. And “out of tune” or not, those fun tools make for a fun mix!
